CrossFit Shin guards: why you need them so much

When you start doing CrossFit, your boxing buddies sometimes look like Imperial Marines, as much accessory and "armor" as they're wearing. Calleras or gloves, wristbands, CrossFit shin guards..

Not that all this is indispensable from the first minute. But if veterans use it, it is because it is very useful. And right now you'll understand why CrossFit shin guards are one of the first additions to your backpack.

Although before...

Don't be confused with the CrossFit knee pads!

CrossFit shin guards cover the shin, that is, the leg section from the ankle to the knee. It is important to note that shin guards are not knee pads. If you're looking for kneepads from CrossFit Reebok, Picsil or any other brand that will strengthen your joint in the most demanding weight training exercises, what you're looking for is in the category Crossfit kneepads.

Exercises where you need CrossFit shin guards

Why do I need a shin guard on CrossFit? A priori, we don't perform exercises in the box that should impact your shins, and therefore it seems like redundant protection, but it isn't at all! Specifically, there are three exercises for which you will appreciate wearing shin guards for CrossFit:

The dead weights → In the deadlift we go up and down a bar with a lot of weight in front of our shins, again and again and again. And another. In the end, it's very easy for you to end up "hitting" your shins.

The jumps into the drawer → There is no danger to your shins during box jumpsRight? Well, tell that to anyone who's been doing them for a while, and they'll explain how many times someone ends up missing a jump and singing all over their shin. Save yourself painful cuts and punches with some good CrossFit shin guards!

Climbing the rope → Shin guards for CrossFit are almost essential for rope climbing. Because in almost all of them you're going to have to use your feet to help you climb, and that involves constant rubbing of your shins with the rough rope. You can even end up with burns

Both Picsilas well as, most notably RocktapeThe CrossFit shin pads provide CrossFit athletes with thick, durable fronts and comfortable, stable settings that don't move during exercise - your shins will thank you for that armor!

In Tribe you can also find: crossfit kneepads, crossfit wristbands, crossfit gloves, crossfit backpacks, calleras crossfit, vests crossfit, bows crossfitand belts and hats crossfit.
